Amazon A+ Content for books: what belongs below the fold
A+ Content is not decoration. It is the only visual story you control once the shopper has already opened the listing.
Below the buy box, Amazon lets you add modules: images, comparison charts, short copy. That block is A+ Content, also called Enhanced Brand Content. Most book pages never use it. The ones that do look like a publisher bothered.
What belongs in the modules
The promise of the book, who it is for, and why this edition or this book in a series. A comparison chart if you have more than one title. A brand strip so the next book looks related. Crops that still read on a phone — that is where the shopper is.
What does not belong: a wall of keywords, a collage of five-star screenshots you do not own, or a template that could sit under any romance and any business book.
How a module set gets live
You send the ASIN, the cover, and the current blurb. We write the arc first, then design. You approve. You receive files that match Amazon’s specs, plus notes on whether you publish through Author Central or Brand Registry. We do not invent a second book to fill the modules.
When to skip it
If the title is not live yet, wait. If the cover is a placeholder, wait. If shoppers cannot find the author page at all, fix Author Central first. A+ sits on a listing that already exists.
The service page is Amazon A+ Content for authors. Quotes start from a single listing; series work is scoped against how many titles share a look.
